Capitolfest has hosted a number of special guests. These have included Victoria Riskin, daughter of Robert Riskin and Fay Wray, and Melanie Wyler, the daughter of William Wyler. In addition, the Capitol has hosted:
Peter McCrea, son of Joel McCrea and Frances Dee, who fielded questions from attendees of Capitolfest 17 about his parents.
Cora Sue Collins, featured in the 1932 movie The Strange Case of Clara Deane. Collins spoke to fans at Capitolfest 17 about topics ranging from her age, marriage, career, and childhood.
